Butlers-While not the best of the year, it certainly had excellent fanservice. Some of the best drawn nipples since Satoshi Urushihara's Plastic Little and Another Lady Innocent, showed that Xebec gave a lot of care to this one. It had quite a cast of likable females (everything from a legal loli to a fujoshi principal). The BD specials were much better produced than most hentai these days. Maybe it'll get licensed, probably by Media Blasters since they released Kanokon.' Sometimes this guy and his friends make me occassionally ashamed to be an anime fan.

Good point, it's just that considering this is the kind of output viewers often lap up nowadays, I feel that it places fans like me who try to be diverse in the minority. |

Good point, it's just that considering this is the kind of output viewers often lap up nowadays, I feel that it places fans like me who try to be diverse in the minority. For me, the classic moe animes are Azumanga Daioh(Norio Wakamoto FTW!), Lucky Star and K-On!(Ehem!) The rest are so-so to me.

Oh no, VZ is at it again with a rant on his page: "One thing I keep seeing in the western anime fandom is people who should have dropped the hobby but haven't. As you may know, I'm not fond of those sorts of fans who complain about moe, like only a small number of titles and regard the rest as crap and have general attitude of jadedness yet are still in the public eye of anime and wishes for things to be there way. It's like me with modern videogames. I REALLY hate the sorts of video games being made today (especially those overly realistic military simulation FPS). The difference is I don't stay in the public eye of the top video games forums and message boards. I'll just continue to play my old games or games that invoke that feeling of nostalgia. Leave the anime fandom to those who have a high zest and are enjoying what's coming out. That doesn't mean I sit there and like everything or give favorable reviews just because an had elements I enjoy but overall wasn't what I wanted. Man I wish there was an English language magazine dedicated solely to moe like Megami Magazine." So not only is he moaning about people disliking his hobby he is also one of the many bitching gamers who hates shooters now too. What a nice guy   Dessler finds this moe talk amusing. |

He basically hates that Operation: Flashpoint, ArmA, ArmA2 and Operation: Flashpoint 2 was made? He basically hates that two studios made 4 games for a niche audience?
