Yesh, yesh. I watched your video where you showed your face to the world, just to emphasize how happy you are about your new stuff. By the way I use to talk such buying behavior 'overkill en masse'.

Cheap and neat. Might buy a BR player soon and start a DR collection too.

So I'm lucky enough to live in Seattle, home town of the world famous Scarecrow Video, an old fashioned mom 'n pop video store with the largest selection of movies in North America. So a friend told me on Wednesday that they were having their annual Spring Cleaning sale, which means 1/2 off marked prices on all used DVD's, Blu-rays and VHS tapes. Needless to say, I had to take advantage of this: Clock-wise from top-left: Aguirre: The Wrath of God (Werner Herzog! Klaus Kinski!!) Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters (Criterion!) In the Mood For Love (Also Criterion!) Dawn of the Dead 4 disc Ultimate Edition Hiruko the Goblin All About Lily Chou-Chou All in all a good haul, especially the Criterion discs and the Dawn of the Dead collection.

City of Life and Death, a Chinese film on the Nanking Massacre that's reportedly one of the best films of yesteryear. A grim movie just for how I've gotten out of the mini-depression Cannibal Holocaust gave me.

I mentioned them somewhat before, but not too long ago I bought copies of Kickboxer From Hell, Robovampire, and Enter the Fat Dragon. Kickboxer is a riot and has Nora Miao in it(albeit in footage from about 20 years prior), Robovampire was a horrible mistake and I shan't be watching it ever again, and considering the estimated ship date for Enter the Fat Dragon was March 25-April 11, I highly doubt it will ever come. Fucking horse shit, that was the one I wanted to watch the most. EDIT: OH MY GOD IT CAME IN
