Two VHSes and a DVD. Not sure if I'd ever want to keep buying the video tapes, they're pretty and cheap but for overall visual enjoyment, DVD, easily. The City of the Living Dead DVD is something special though, a great amount of extras as well as a poster too.

Well I have snagged two movies lately. On VHS I snagged the obscure Robert Ginty Terminator derivative Retaliator, quite an entertaining piece of sci-fi silliness. On a more classy note, I also snagged the OOP 2 disc edition of the George Lazneby Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Easily now my favourite film in the series thanks to it's superb writing and a truly tragic ending, now thats an underrated classic.

My camera has currently no energy left. But this is what the DVD cover looks like: The Commander (1988). Euro war trash at it´s finest!

Between my brother and my purchases, we got ourselves Superman Doomsday, Bruce Lee Ultimate Collection (The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon, Game of Death, Game of Death II), The Protector/Honeur du Dragon/Tom Yum Goong, Taxi Driver, and The Replacements.

There is something interesting you might want to know: In Germany during the ol´ days of VHS "Final Score" was renamed like mostly all other foreign movies. And it´s new title was Strike Commando. Yes. And I got proof: Of course the actual Strike Commando with Reb Brown was also given a new name. But anyway have you already recognized that this front cover is a huge fake?

Yup, that front really doesn't depict the film too well.
It's a hoot, like a well-made version of The Intruder (but with an uncomfortably long rape scene) and more dubbing and dialogue that just ups the comedy.
The real Strike Commando was released as Cobra Force in Germany.

It doesn´t ´cause it´s based on a promo photo of Sweden´s finest boy Dolph Lundgren who advertised for The Punisher at that time. But say isn´t that an Indonesian dub? Attachments:

Thai poster, boo-yah. This too, Bruno Mattei's White Apache on Greek-subtitled VHS.

Bit of a haul, the two jewel-case items are two of Koichi Ohata's live-action movies, one is called Ghost Boxer, the other is called Mega Ladies. The blank-looking DVD-R contains a Japanese VHS rip of Dark Soldier D, a three-episode live-action effort Koichi Ohata reportedly did the storyboards on, and the Sunrise fliers were sent along with all of them. The Visitor Q and Rashomon DVDs were seperate, I'm yet to watch Q.

Nope, neither movies have subtitles, but it's quite easy to understand the plots, I'm yet to watch all of Dark Soldier D but what I saw of the first episode was pretty cool.

I´m just interested to know if "Mega Ladies" has something in common with "Burst Angel".
