Super Robot Wars L is coming out soon, but after seeing the anime entries used, I'm having serious doubts. I'd like somebody to weigh in the options. Entries are...
Gundam Wing Endless Waltz- Yay! Heero looks cooler than ever! (Though the gay undertones seem both creepy and hilarious. Not a problem for me, though.)
Iczer 1 and 3- This dark 80s anime was clearly created with the intent of making a post-apocalyptic lesbian fantasy world that functions in the same way as Sailor Moon, Guyver, Bastard!, and Power Rangers. That may explain the L in the game's title. Something feels off about putting this side by side with children's cartoons from the 70s, which brings me to...
Combattler and Voltes- Worshipped in the Phillipines, these two have made their mark in history. But I have a strong belief against siding them with fanservice animes.
Evangelion Remake- I don't give a damn about Evangelion fandom. I just like the Eva units.
Iron Linebarrel- Every boy's dream
Mazinkaiser- After the stripping of Sayaka's bikini top and Boss's hairy ass, I have been opposed to ever seeing this in combination with something like Voltes. The OVA movie would be fine, but the series is included as well.
Dancougar Nova- A SEED-enized travesty of Dancougar. Bad Japanese techno in combination with small teenage girls in skimpy clothing. It sounds good on paper, but if you look it up, you might think the creators are just a little perverted.
What do you all think? Should I buy when it comes out or not?
