VG characters based on real people/movie/anime

Lil' Jon and Thrasher/Damnd from Final Fight

And yes, I'm well aware that Thrasher was around long before Lil' Jon ever got famous, but the resemblance is creepy.

These two VG characters looks like M.D. Geist inspired:

Hattori Hanzo and Galford Weiler from Samurai Spirits/Shodown series!

I'd have to say it's wishful thinking, probably.

Me too. I´d say there is even one Gundam (from the Wing series), that´s more probably based on Geist. I think it was the black Gundam with the scythe; I don´t know.

There are some parts that I spotted which inspired from Geist, like their armor parts which looks simplified from Geist's armor(still retain the gold trimmings and the spikes on their shoulder plates), Hanzo's ninja mask is kinda looks like simplified from Geist's helmet(visor is also present with his eyes and half of his nose expose), Galford's hairstyle looks exactly like Geist's and last but not the least, their black and blue color scheme looks separated from Geist's dark blue color of his armor.

Spotted another Geist look a like:

When I first saw Geist in his biker gang outfit, it really reminds me of this character which only appears in the storyline of the game and he's a gun lover instead of knife lover, the close up sprite pics looks more look like Arnold anyway, the official artwork of him in the last pic does really resemble Geist in a biker gang outfit.

There's also an anime version based from the game and Robert was also one of the main characters, he has given much more role than the main protagonist Ryu Hayabusa in the story, his outfit is more casual looking though but guess who voiced him, Geist's V.A. himself! Norio Wakamoto!

Whoa, the upper left is good. But the anime version of this guy sucks a bit.

But he said one of the coolest/manliest line in the anime while fighting the bio technology made monsters: "We love Fighting! We love women!"

That might be, but in my opinion his anime look sucks anyway!! Looks a bit skinny, but too damn old!!

I think it's because of the design issue of character designer's styling and not because he was designed as slim to begin with.
Anyway judging to the art style of characters in the anime, I think it's the same person who did Space Runaway Ideon, Aura Battler Dunbine and MS Gundam Char's Counter Attack.

I find his memorable quote in the game better:
"Okay freaks, come and get it. You're going to dream you worst nightmare!
Nobody's gonna pass on 'Jungle Rat' Rob!"
Probably the most badass quote for the NES/Famicom game.

The right one looks like a mexican, filipino or southeast asian IMO, I can't see resemblance with each of them except for the head band and hair.

Lad, have you even watched the film and played the game?
If you would have done so, then you would have written something about how much both characters are alike, not only in their looks but also behavior.
