Got this for my birthday last year, only just got round to watching it now.
It's a film that is a remake in the truest sense of the word, it is by no means a rip-off and I enjoyed both its resemblances to the original Death Wish as well as the diversions. It's of a slightly darker calibur as well but not enough to be exploitative, definitely a good watch and probably the best-directed Turkish film of its era.
If you're going to watch this, I'd prefer you commit and pick up the ultra limited 500-copy-only DVD released by Onar Films, simply because that's a company run by a guy who could really do with the money, and this release is an utter labor of love.
