Just saw Insideous. Not gory at all, but one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. Lots of suspence, creepiness, and a scary demon design to boot. In my opinion, it beats The Exorcist (which I also recently watched) by quite a bit. So, what's the scariest movie you have seen? Or do you have a list of movies?

I'd still like to see Insidious, quite a few people have said it was good while a friend I made a film with said it's first-half is good but it unfortunately turns laughable. I'll have to check it out.
The original Paranormal Activity did scare me for its tension and atmosphere, however, I did hate the ending (and not just because that led the way to a relatively lukewarm sequel). I don't know if I have a particularly long list of films that scared me, but films that did disturb me...
Eden Lake, largely due to how its topic is incredibly relevant to England, and the 'happy slapping' device in it very much echoed the then-recent events of the three Ukrainian boys who beat a man to death with a hammer while recording it (I refuse to go by the media's name and call them the "Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs", that's glorifying them). Incredibly harrowing film, and quite classist in a way, I'm not sure if I want to see it again but I'd like to see American reactions to it.
Cannibal Holocaust is very disturbing for some very simple reasons (not including the gory animal killings), which include how it quite bluntly says that us civilized people with our TVs and multimedia are pretty savage. The film does have very good horror elements overall though.
Enter the Void, still need to find a film that made me as sick as this, not a horror but definitely a film to have affected me in many ways.
I'll see what others I can think up.
