It's interesting to see that there was a release of this gaijin movie in the land of the rising sun. Would like to know Japanese thoughts concerning the fact that an American is a ninja this time.

Would like to know Japanese thoughts concerning the fact that an American is a ninja this time. Probably pretty entertaining and left it at that, knowing that the depiction was just as inaccurate as every other American movie to feature a ninja. Lad.

'Most of them are a mockery of what ninjas stand for.' Dude, seriously? You're hating on a Cannon film for it's portrayal of ninjas? Whatever man, this stuff was and still is the shit since I was 13.

Can't agree with you more on that, Invid. There is no code existing which says that all movies must show an actual and correct portrayal of a certain thing. In regards to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers ninja stuff, now THAT's badass anywhere. Maybe in the eyes of eight-year-olds, back in the 90s. Seriously.

No fighting please, and I can ask a Japanese friend if he's seen these movies. Hey, please! That's more helpful than just giving examples of other random, "awesome" works.

There even an american ninja character made in japan named Galford Weiler from Samurai Spirits/Shodown games, another one is from Sengoku 3 which I forgot his name.

But this has nothing to do with this thread. But he's an American ninja.

But he's not THE American Ninja, and not a Dudikoff. Yesh.

David Bradley. Okay, David Bradley. Well, what I did not like about Mister David Bradley is that he showed his ass in a ninja suit for only half a minute, but that's not tragic, ain't it? So yeah, I'm with you!

Y'know, I've come across a lot of American ninja stuff on YT. The dilemma is that I don't know whether to post here or on the Gallery of QUALITY thread. Seriously, it's some really, really stupid crap from the 80s and early 90s. BTW, do any of the G.I. Joe agents count as American ninjas? To answer your GI Joe question....I don't know. Unlike everyone in the U.S. My only experience with GI Joe are the animated and Rise of Cobra movies so I don't know the specific nationalities of the characters. Also, you say 'really, really stupid crap'? Practically all the ninja stuff is golden.
