Albeit, in Japanese, but it's still nice to see these being so recent. Interesting, Mattei's final movie - Zombies: The Beginning/Zombi 2009 - was supposedly a prequel to one of his final movies, Island of the Living Dead. Island has just been released in Japan this year, while 2009 was released in 2008, so does that make this a proper sequel? Given the non-existant continuity between exploitation flicks (especially ones so late), and how both movies are from two different distributors, I'd say no, I doubt there's really even much to the supposed prequel side of things. www.jvd.ne.jp/hr/IOTD/IOTD.htmlSomething I do like is how these guys don't pretend they're not releasing B-Movies and even put "from the director of Cannibal Holocaust 2 and Zombi 3", interesting as normally every other distributor says Zombi 3 is a Lucio Fulci film despite him having almost nothing to do with the movie. www.jvd.ne.jp/hr/prison2/pri2.htmlThe Jail, Mattei's throwback to the women-in-prison movies, seems to be released here as part of this distributor's Prison Island series, the subtitle pretty much says "Women prison torture hell". I'll pick these up once they go down a bit in price, it's nice to see things like this readily available and not from an obscure bootlegger or some equally obscure Italian movie catalogue that use a badly scaled screenshot for the entirety of their covers.
