Why are you even on DA? You're better off doing a blog for your art or a website plus attached blog. DA has become a hive of creepers, also DA makes it clear in the little agreement that everybody signs to join the site that they have the right to do whatever they want with your work once you start submitting art it's basically theirs.

Because most of my online friends are dA users, and a few of my IRL friends are there too. Plus, I've been posting for six years, so I'd have 1000+ pieces to sort through and move to a blog or website. Mainly I'm there for convenience. It's not so bad since it's mostly me and my friends who actually look at and comment on my page. I rarely have problems with trolls.

What a fucking son of a bitch troll! Ugh, I deal with assholes like that all the time in real life. Most of the thugs, fat-fuck nerds, and fundies I come across at my college have an arrogant "Nobody cares!" attitude. If I flip them off (which is my normal response), they gather like a pack of rabid animals against me. I hope they wind up in jail someday...
Yeah, you should probably start a blog. I'd have done so a long time ago, but I neither know how to set one up nor do I want it to simply be a list of ongoings in my life. Still, without the proper skills, it's just a pipe dream at this point.
Hm...is there any particular skill or talent you have that can be shared and taught to other people? You could also put that kind of stuff on your blog too (if you want).

Anyway, I don't use DA so I am not terribly aware of problems related to the site. Have not heard terribly amazing things about it though. |
