Well quite obvious that G Gundam was influenced by Super Robot genre taking away the traditional 'Real Robot' and some of the characters looks so Go Nagai-ish.

And don't forget, Power Rangers was an adaptation of Toei's Super Sentai series so there's a lot more shows of it were released before the first season Power Ranger does.

I am jealous of your Gundam Deathscythe. That is and has always been my favorite one!

@loadrunner: Kinda late, speaking of Gundam Deathscythe, 2 of its versions was already released in Master Grade kit format, one is Katoki's rendition of Deathscythe and the other is Deathscythe Hell Custom from Endless Waltz OVA.

Quite late but I'll post the pics of my customized M.D. Geist figure!






It might pissed you off guys but this one is from Sky Girls, but not those loli armored but the aircraft which is based from the same name appeared in Gradius games.






My thoughts: This is my very first aircraft I've ever worked on and my very first attempt to do a pre-shade technique using an airbrush. When I saw this kit from a local hobby store, I'm having a thoughts to get this one since I'm playing Gradius games for years(My personal fave is Gradius 2 and Salamander/Life Force for Family Computer, Gradius Gaiden for PSX and Gradius Rebirth for Wii)and this was based from the iconic spacecraft from Gradius games of the same name, well both Sky Girls and Gradius series was produced by Konami so it makes sense.
Although I love the design, it's one of the worst kit I've ever assembled, most of the parts doesn't snap together and the quality of plastic is not as good as the Gundam model kits, in other words, It's like building a bootleg/china made kit(Note that this kit was made by Atelier-Sai), well I'm not quite surprised because of it's cheap price(800 php) for a kinda big scale model kit.
I must say that this model really requires modelling skills to make it look even better than just a snap-built.
