Just recall of Ross' quote from the anime Armitage III Polymatrix, saying:"Geez, why are they all females?!"

Wow, those look about as tasteful as the average Nazisploitation movie.

It just feels... wrong how historic events are turned into arguable wank material.

I don't want to sound like someone who is completely anti-moe and an utter nostalgiafag, but I can only draw the line on so many things, and so much stuff like this is just embarrassing.

Eh, Nazi fetish stuff has always been part of the S & M scene, it's just bizarre to combine it with moe and be so open about it.

Nothing wrong with Nazi fetishism, it's just that, they're portraying Hitler as a cute little girl, something that certain fans are going to get off to or (more likely) glamorize, it's pretty wrong.

The Japanese are bonkers. I don't really approve of comments like this because they sound generalizing and ignorant, I find it's instead sad this is how you have to sell to otaku.

I second that completely. It does not only show much ignorance, but also stupidity.

All I can say is that Americans do things in exactly the same kind of bad taste. In Family Guy, they made a little song about the Lockerbie bomber, a children's play of the Terri Schiavo controversy, and countless other things. South Park pretty much makes fun of everything. Hell, they were able to show Muhammad in one of their earlier episodes (which I support as a right of free speech). Don't say that the Japanese are the most shameless until you see anything by Seth MacFarlane or Matt Stone and Trey Parker. That's parody, THIS is selling to a group of people who won't be interested unless it's sexualized, there's a big difference.

Just like news. Never realized that todays news are a sick mixture of serious and hilarious stuff, only to ensure somebody´s watching? I mean why not comparing news of 1984 to news of 2010? Then you´ll see the very differences. This is some pretty sad situation in my opinion.
