Have you ever watched one of the many trash movies of this insane company with the Toxic Avenger as their mascot? Last evening I got introduced to one of their most movies ever made: "Terror Firmer". It´s really a great party movie! ;D If you´re interested to know everything about the differences between the unrated version and the r-rated version ( which is even funnier!!), then follow this link. Don´t worry, you don´t need to understand German, because the pictures tell the story themselves. www.schnittberichte.com/schnittbericht.php?ID=425895

I've always wanted to see something by these guys, at least the Toxie movies if anything, I do know they released tons of bad shit and TONS of grisly shit, Combat Shock had a really depressing ending.

I highly recommend you "Toxic Avenger Part II", which does not only take place in Japan and messes with the modern Japanese culture - Go Nagai himself appears in the movie, too! ;D
You know, "Combat Shock" was not really made by Troma Entertainment; they were just the only company that had interest in publishing it. All what Troma did was cutting the original version and filling the lost time with stock footage of Vietnam documentations.

Being from the UK, Troma has practically no exposure here apart from the Toxic Avenger movies; believe it or not my older brother had Toxie pyjamas as a kid . However one Troma film that looks fairly interesting is Poultrygeist, fairly noteworthy for being probably the only Troma film currently on Blu-Ray.

There were even Toxie pyjamas of this stuff? Never heard of Poultrygeist before. I need to check it out.

Poultrygeist is a recent one, definitely remember hearing about it all over the Internet at one point.

Yes, I've seen the Japanese VHS box.
It was pretty much worth a million words.

The VHS cover showing a single man with sunglasses and stahlhelm mesmerised me as a small boy. But anyway, is this flick still available on DVD? Does anybody know?

Troma's always had a presence among us fans in the U.S. of trashy cinema, but I can't say I'm really a huge fan, as all of their self-produced stuff always felt like it was trying too hard to me. But I can recommend a movie they released directed by Trey Parker of South Park fame called Cannibal: The Musical! Really awesome genre mish-mash of a flick.

That movie had a budget of about $70,000 - so it must be good somehow!
