Oh yeah, and I really like a lot of Andrew Dickman's work; as is obviously obvious just by looking at a fan animation I did of one of his WIP titles and all the fanart I've accumulated over the years of said title. ^_^; Well, okay, he's technically not a comic artist so much as a cartoonist and character designer; though I have indeed seen a few comic pages he did years ago. Also... I've found from talking to the guy that we both seem to have the problem of making too many characters without getting into their backstories enough. ; Damn, and I was hoping I could get some advice to remedy that... oh well.

Honestly I wanted this thread to be clean of any mangaka artists, to ensure a certain balanced basis - but there you go again.

Mate, I stand by the idea of "manga = comic" and try not to really divide the two, because there are no differences. It's why there's no "manga" section on this board, because the manga section is the "comics" section.

While certainly not obscure by any stretch of the imagination, I really like Norihiro Yagi's artwork for Claymore.

I wanted this thread to be dedicated to comics, because also I'd like to make some new experciences with good comics even I have never heard of. Also to kill off the current stagnation!! and make things more colorful.

I've always been a massive fan of Bob Kane's work.
