Okay having just got the complete TV show on DVD I've felt the need to re-watch the live action movie...but a part of me does not want to because well...it sucked. Long story short I saw it when it came out in the cinema and from what I remember I was dissapointed in it mainly in the fact that while it did resemble the show (albiet with real actors instead of puppets) and did have a few funny moments, the decision to focus mainly on the kid characters and turn one of the Thunderbird team into a whiny little brat who becomes the main protagonist (I know it's a family movie and all but still) I was just underwhelmed...it makes me wonder why it's director Johnatan Frakes (yes Riker from Star Trek TNG) has not seemed to have done anything since then
Does anyone here remember this movie?

Yes. It was dire, complete and utter shite. While this is an oft over used expression, as a child who grew up on Gerry Anderson's TV shows, the live action Thunderbirds raped my childhood memories.
