I don't see anything particularly wrong with the second and third Geist screenshots, the third one is actually gorgeous. That Naruto one is very debatable though, it goes on for way too long, to the point it just seems like bad art direction rather than blatantly bad art.

I don't see anything particularly wrong with the second and third Geist screenshots, the third one is actually gorgeous. The second pic is a personal matter; I like Hans' lulzy lookin' eyes. And the third pic emphasizes how wrong the shoulder armor is drawn, plus the neck looks a bit too long. And the "antennas" on Kurtz's helmet look also different in comparison to previous scenes. That Naruto one is very debatable though, it goes on for way too long, to the point it just seems like bad art direction rather than blatantly bad art. Nein, I dunno. But whoever was responsible for this hideous scenes did a FUCKING bad job. |

It feels like they were going for some bizarre artistic style but it just ended up looking absolutely ridiculous, it's too big to be an oversight, but no one thought "you know, this looks shit" clearly.

I´m not sure 'bout that, sir. I'd like to know if they ever had a test running for these "bizarre artistic styled" scenes, but let them in because they were made with much effort however.

On the subject of the M.D. Geist screens: with the exception of "babyface" Colonel Crutes and the infamous "two left hands" mistake scene, I don't see anything wrong with the animation quality of the pics posted.
