stores.ebay.co.uk/AnimeClassicsI'd say this guy should really be given a hand, he's put a lot of effort into these bootlegs, creating sleeves and working DVD menues, personally I fancy that Goku Midnight Eye bootleg of his.

He really has a great selection (Blue Sonnet and Ogre Slayer!!). Plus I´m going to adopt him if he can provide us a DVD of Midori - Mr Arashi's Amazing Freak Show.

Hey Zach, I wonder if it would be much good to give the guy a mention on your show.

That reminds me, I still have the bootleg copy of Ogre Slayer OVA episodes and also the complete episodes of Record Of Lodoss War OVA.
I also recall seeing a DVD of Goku Midnight Eye in a section of pirated DVD shops in a 3rd rate mall but I pass it up.

@ldorado: Here in the Philippines bro, not just in the mall I mentioned(Monumento area) but also in the black markets in the streets(Munoz, Divisoria, Quiapo, etc.) , yeah they are massive which is really bad for the movie industry here in the Philippines(so bad, only few filipino movies are made each year).

Hey Zach, I wonder if it would be much good to give the guy a mention on your show. I will if he turns out to be a good seller on E-Bay and the discs I ordered are of a decent quality, so I will if he's worth endorsing.

I don't know about his unedited VHS rips (having not seen them), but I have a "remastered" Roots Search DVD from him, and the picture quality is much better than a regular VHS rip. No picture noise, sharper image, colors are more vivid, hardsubs much less fuzzy, etc... I liked the DVD so much I went back and ordered a remastered Lily-C.A.T. DVD. If I have a guilty pleasure, it's cheesy 80's sci-fi anime; and I want to see this crap in HD, dammit!

Thanks, but I already mentioned him on my podcast (positive) a few months ago.

Are those DVDs by any chance Region 1 or Region 0/All?

Are those DVDs by any chance Region 1 or Region 0/All? Well, I'm in America and they play just fine on my DVD player and laptop, so they definitely work on Region 1 players. Dunno about All Regions though...

They're Region 0, says under each product.

They're Region 0, says under each product. Cool, because with the seller being from the UK, I really don't want to spend money on buying a universal DVD player if I don't have to. fokkusu: Same here, which is why I asked about the regions.
