Recent events in media

The past few days brought up some real good news, especially for us Germans: After a long period of 25 years "The Terminator" is not indicated anymore. That means the whole movie can be broadcast on TV and shown on DVD totally uncut at last!
And also the uncensored uncut version of the cult anime "Kite - Angel of Revenge" got an official FSK rating (18+). I´ve already planned to buy the DVD after its release.
Then there is the 3rd good news that the manga "Golden Boy" is going to get a sequel by its author Tatsuya Egawa. It´s still unknown who the new main protagonist will be, but lots of fans hope it´s going to be Kintaro Oe again.
And another good news is that the American label "Kino International" is going to release the longest known version of Fritz Lang´s magnum opus "Metropolis" on DVD and Blu-Ray (RC1 and RC A).

You got any other news, that are worth reading?

I list you some of the lost scenes that were included in the new version, which I´ve also seen in February this year:

-Georgy, worker 11811, has some fun in the Yoshiwara
-a monk reveals the upcoming apocalypse
-Rotwang orders the Maschinenmensch (machine-man = that android girl) to destroy the whole city
-Fredersen kills Rotwang(!)

I bet it´s only a question of time and there will be an European release of this version.

Just some (German) updates:

During this month:
-The Terminator has been re-rated these days (FSK 16, finally!)
-The Blastfighter - Der Exekutor has been indicated again (till 2035, IF there will be no requests)
--Commando is not indicated anymore; a re-rating follows (FSK 18 rating estimated)
--Ninja Scroll (the OVA!) is also not indicated anymore An uncut edition may also be released soon. ;D

And
-Tokugawa is still indicated, because a request was denied.
-Tokugawa 3 has been taken of the index. It is not indicated anymore.

So in all this month had some nice news. Further verifications on Total Recall, The Running Man and Paul Verhoeven´s masterpiece Robocop will also follow soon.

Yes, I went to two protests in Liverpool, the first one was more successfl than any other it seems but the second one was pointless; too many dickhead hippies and police trying to contain us.

@ve: If the government declares class war, then they should not act like they're not aware of possible deaths. I mean WTF: In 10 years there will be only a fistful of students, which parents are factory owners; just in other words. But you get my idea, right?
