Watched the last episode of Macross Plus. FREAKING AWESOME
I want to get a CD of all the music, orchestral, rock, Sharon's stuff, everything.
Next is Seven, right? (I know it is)
I also watched Riding Bean. Totally ruling! The dub is fabulous.

Also, the only anime I have time for lately is Heroman, though I would like to get back to VOTOMS, or christ, all the other fucking series I've started.

Last evening I watched the classic Swedish ninja trash movie "The Ninja Mission" from 1984. I really liked the idea of ninjas fighting with "the most advanced weapons - and the most ancient" against bad communists in Mother Russia.

Right now I finished the first two episodes of the mini OVA series "Armored Trooper VOTOMS - Heretic Saint".
It´s just amazing.

"Heretic Saint" aka "Shining Heresy" takes place 32 years after the TV series, but to understand the OVA you should have watched the TV series. Otherwise you won´t understand anything. By the way here are some pictures of the OVA: anisearch.de/index.php?page=anime&id=2070# |

I'm currently halfway through with watching the classic anime series Red Photon Zillion on YouTube. I loved the short-lived, dubbed Zillion episodes as well as the OVA Zillion: Burning Night, but Streamline Pictures never finished dubbing the series.

On a whim, I have finally decided to try and complete watching the classic Armored Trooper Votoms TV series. Basicailly I am marathoning a disc a day; so glad I snagged those Region 1 sets when I did. Not to mention all the OVAs after the series I will need to watch too. God I love this show.
