This was pretty much seen coming, sadly. I won't join this "WAAH WHY ALL THE FAMOUS PEOPLE DYING" bandwagon because it's been happening for the last 3 years with people born 40-70 years ago with natural causes entering into it a lot, though this has been a bit of a chain, with Dio, the guy from Slipknot (admittedly never knew his name), Gary Coleman and NOW Cooper. Guy was a damn fine actor.

It's very unfortunate to see so many famous people die so quickly. On the other hand though, this has made me want to check out films featuring the late Mr.Hopper namely Easy Rider. My only subsequent exposure to Dennis Hopper was the Super Mario Bros. movie. :S

Go and watch "Easy Rider", invid. NOW! This movie has an affecting touch you won´t find in many movies of the last 50 years. And I knew he would die this year, because in February he stated his prostate cancer was already at a too much depauperated stage. But for fuck´s sake ... it´s just terrible that he´s passed away. I´ve watched so many movies that showed him in remarkable roles, just not only Easy Rider. If you would like to watch some other flicks containing him, then stick to "Blue Velvet", "Apocalypse Now", "The American Friend", "Hoosiers" and "Land of the Dead". And his own directed, but fantastic movie "Colors" from 1988 starring Sean Penn.
