I absolutely adore the first Modern Warfare game. I wish there would be a game to M.D. Geist, just like Modern Warfare. Is somebody else also into this great game? Or even into the second part, which I still have never played?

I'm currently playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 after taking nearly a year's break from it. I'll probably pick up a used copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops when the price comes down at GameStop.

Modern Warfare was great. I'm done with it and can recommend this game to all of you guys that love quick intelligent action, packed up with an interesting story.
So right now I'm playing MW2. It's also really a great game with a cool story, but my contra point is that it's to short for a proper FPS. I mean, I already reached ACT II after about eight hours on regular.

I may live in Germany, but I always play FPS games in their original and uncensored versions. Hell, the airport massacre is indeed full of disturbing content if I may say so.

M.D. Geist would be awesome for old-school arcade beat-em-up/shooter.

Nah, ever played Shogo: MAD before? This game shows that mecha action can be also badass in FPS style!

So, how do you imagine jumping on a mecha and stabbing it in the cockpit with a spear in FPS? Also, M.D. Geist didn't have typical superscience mecha from most of the mecha Animu. It only had small Votoms-style mecha. And M.D. Geist never piloted any of them. Also, Shogo is awesome at making one feel like a pilot of a 15cm high toy mecha :3 . From what I've seen so far, the only FP game that came anywhere near showing how it feels to pilot a big mecha is Mechwarrior 3 and it failed at it anyway. Here, for comparison is how it looks when someone actually bothers to make stuff look like big mecha, not like toys:

So, how do you imagine jumping on a mecha and stabbing it in the cockpit with a spear in FPS? Like in the Cliffhanger mission in Modern Warfare 2.

I see. Still, I'd prefer something like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAjpHXxR_9obut less cartoony and more bloody. Also, M.D. Geist needs to be visible on screen, which eliminates FPS :3 .

I would actually love to see the M.D. Geist series adapted into a video game.

Cortex Command would be great for a M.D. Geist mod.

If you wanna loose the earnestness of M.D. Geist, well, then go ahead. <_<

It allows to jump on a dropship and shoot it to pieces with parts of the transported troops falling out .

Just like in a well-developed FPS like Red Faction you can also destroy the entire environment - so why not also in a FPS.
