I saw Unthinkable starring Samuel L. Jackson and Carrie-Anne "Trinity" Moss a few days ago. In hindsight, it loosely reminded me of the Angel Cop OVAs on the subject on how far someone will go when using torture to interrogate terrorists.

La Vie En RoseIf there's anything I learned from watching this, it's that the French are just as ignorant and bigoted as we Americans.[/quote How so?

Blastfighter, albeit via a shitty YouTube upload.
Wish I had the European DVD.

Due to complaints, I will not participate in any more review-type threads. Dunno where you get that impression, Kreig's no longer here. Last film I saw was Takashi Miike's 13 Assassins, which all of you should see.

Last film I saw was Takashi Miike's 13 Assassins, which all of you should see. The only Takashi Miike films I've seen were Ichi the Killer (based off the batshit insane manga of the same name) and Audition. Both were fucked-up films, but Ichi the Killer had some darkly humorous moments in the film.

Just watched The Great Happiness Space last night, a Japanese documentary from a director from the U.K. about Japanese host clubs, extremely enlightening and profoundly depressing all in one, it'll make you re-think how this post-modern era has affected the way we collectively think about love and relationships.

Just watched the filipino movie 'Bangis' from a cable channel Cinema One this morning, another Predator rip-off aside of Robowar. I recorded the movie using a PCI TV tuner for my PC, I will upload later some of the clips in my youtube account

Firstly, I watched Lars Von Trier's Antichrist; sadly I thought it was a load of pretentious bollocks. On the other hand I got some Rin Taro in my system with Galaxy Express 999 which was great fun, can't wait for the DVD in June.

Gall Force: Eternal Story. It was fun, albeit very episodic.

Gall Force: Eternal Story. It was fun, albeit very episodic. I love Gall Force merely because it's every good habit of 80's anime in one movie.
