Yeah, here in Germany they still broadcast part 1 and 2 always combo style. But anyway I prefer Coburn than Burton as Steiner. Not that I would say Burton did not a good job, but Coburn... I don't know exactly how to explain; he is just the fucking Steiner and no one else.

I am interested in seeing Rampage because hey, it's Boll's only good movie, surprisingly. I´ve also watched Postal and I must admit that it is an average made, but again not bad, good sarcastic comedy. As I played the Postal games before I really liked that Boll tried to catch up the insane humor of the Postal games and to integrate it into new sketches like the "Little Germany" theme park. Goddamn, Boll even played himself and fought against the producer of the Postal games in the theme park! Fuckin´ hilarious and funny! I was quite surprised that Uwe Boll finally managed to make a good movie. While it wasn't dead serious and insane like Postal 1, it was a pretty good comedy. Uwe Boll seems to be very good at edgy humour.

I saw The American with George Clooney the other night. The movie made me want to visit Italy.

Nice pick there, heard many good things about it. Speaking of independent animation, any one else on this board aware of a film that came out last year called Chico and Rita? Sadly I could not see it as it did only very brief runs on the UK arthouse circuit, but it is apparently a gorgeous animated romantic period drama and I admittedly am looking forward to seeing it, same with The Illusionist.

I watched Pink Flamingos not too long ago. I kind of wanted to die.

Watched quite a lot, I've forgotten their names... Did just come off watching the original The Hills Have Eyes, quite fantastic really.

The title alone sounds hacked-up. My last watches would have to be the surprisingly good Italian comic-adaptation Baba Yaga (Shameless Films' restored, uncut version) and the remake of True Grit, a film that while I thought wasn't as great as everyone was calling it, has a quality that makes me want to see it again. It's indeed brilliant for the most part, and the Coen brothers cannot make a bad film.
